Job Description
Correctional Nurses provide healthcare to inmates of correctional facilities such as juvenile detention centers, halfway houses, municipal jails, and state/federal penitentiaries. Education Requirements
RN license with AD, diploma, or BSN. Many correctional nurses also go through a certification process provided by the National Commission on Correctional Healthcare to become Certified Correctional Health Professional.
